I was commissioned to create the opening illustration for the article, along with five interior illustrations. The article explores the various tax mechanisms in France that allow individuals to reduce their tax burden by investing in sectors such as housing, innovation, forests, vineyards, or retirement savings. It outlines the tax advantages these investments can offer, as well as the risks and long-term commitments they involve. It also addresses the ongoing debate over whether these incentives genuinely benefit the broader economy or primarily favor certain investors.
