The article explores the emotional and everyday relationship we develop with paperback books, celebrating their practicality, flexibility, and the marks of use as symbols of a lived and deeply cherished reading experience. For me, this project was an especially rewarding experience, as I had the opportunity to create a visual piece that captured the love for books and their ability to transport us to other places.
